Over the years, Chepstow House School has taken pride in supporting numerous worthy and worthwhile causes. Alongside our international charity Stand By Me, and the Chepstow Bursary, we choose to support a different local charity every year. Friends of Chepstow House, with the integral help of our Chepstow families, work tirelessly to help us reach our charitable goals. Throughout the year, fundraising events for both parents and pupils take place within and outside of school.
This 2024/25 academic school year year we are supporting The Clement James Centre, Stand By Me and the Chepstow Bursary Fund -Gold Standard Charitable Trust (GSCT).
The Celement James Centre helps children and young people to learn, flourish and achieve their full potential.
This allows them to feel fulfilled and have the opportunities to build the future that they choose. The charity provides academic support, mentoring, intensive literacy and numeracy catch-up support and aspirational activities.
The Clement James Centre helps 7-18 year olds with a combination of:
Chepstow House School partners with Stand by Me to help rescue children from terrible circumstances across the world and then do whatever it takes to help them thrive. Chepstow House School is currently supporting the Open Arms project, a Stand By me school in Kenya where 350 children, who have been orphaned, abandoned or are living in extreme poverty, are now receiving daily food, healthcare, a loving family home when needed and a life-changing education. Recently, ten members of Chepstow House staff visited and helped support the school with their knowledge, delivered the clothes that had been generously donated by families of Chepstow House and met the children whose lives are being changed by Chepstow House School. The wonderful thing about the partnership is not only the difference being made in the lives of the children in Kenya but also the understanding, love and passion shown by the children of Chepstow House School in supporting their friends in Kenya to have the opportunity of a different future.
The Chepstow House Bursary Fund
Studying at Chepstow House School is an extraordinary experience and we are immensely proud of the opportunities that we offer, which have helped to shape and transform the lives of many young people.
Our Bursary Fund allows us to provide access to our School to students and families who come from different economic backgrounds. This has the dual impact of making a life-changing difference for the individual pupil, while broadening and enhancing the experience and perspectives of all our young people.
The Gold Standard Charitable Trust raises money for bursaries at all school within Inspired Education’s UK family. However, we have a dedicated X School Bursary Fund with the goal of the supporting boys* already enrolled at Chepstow House who have been awarded bursaries, as well as adding one or more additional pupils each year. Donations to this fund will be designated to boys at Chepstow House. (If the needs of Chepstow House pupils are completely met, funds may be used where the need is greatest among the schools that the Gold Standard Charitable Trust serves).
