Chepstow House School

Save the Children

As a school this was our first charity that we chose to support. It was introduced on Tuesday 27th April by a parent who came in to share their experiences of a recent trip to India. The children were enthralled by the colourful slide show presentation and through it also learnt about Save the Children.

We were then very lucky to have Helen from Save the Children come into school to speak to us on Tues 12 Oct.  Helen told us all about how the charity helps children who are less fortunate, all around the world, to be happy and healthy.  She showed us all of the things that Save the Children are able to provide, such as clean water, food, medicine and education with all of our donations.

The children took part in Mufti Days and Jumble Sales and the parents did a Yoga event. We raised £1,049.89.
