Red Nose Day 2015

Red Nose Day took place on Friday 13th March.   There were 9 different Red Noses this year and the children were very excited to see which one they would get in exchange for their minimum £3 donation.   This amount was chosen for a very special reason -£3 is enough money to provide exercise books for a child in Zambia for a whole school year.

The children had a wonderful day.  As well as designing some very funny faces, the children learned about a little African girl called Ngosa.  Ngosa and her sister lost both their parents at a very young age.  They are faced with many challenges each day.  However, thanks to Comic Relief, Ngosa is still able to go to school and she dreams about having a very successful future.

Thank you to everyone who donated money.  We raised over £800 which is our greatest total for this charity to date.  Well done everybody!!!
